Dubai Work Visa Online Apply:

If you want to work in the emirate, you must have a residence visa and a work permit (proof of employment). To get a work permit in Dubai before moving to the UAE, the first step is to find a job. It will then be your employer’s responsibility to apply for a work permit and residence visa for you as they will be your sponsor.

The process was started after obtaining permission. After that, the ex-pat can enter the country and stay there for two months. It will then be the employer’s responsibility to complete a medical examination, stamp the residence permit in their employee’s passport and obtain an ID card and a UAE work permit.

It is possible to enter Dubai on a visitor visa – such as a visa on arrival or a tourist visa – and then find a job during your stay and be sponsored by your potential employer. However, you will not be able to guarantee that you will get a job and you will not be able to work until your visa is approved.

In Dubai, employers are required to provide health insurance to their employees. As a sponsor, it is their responsibility to provide a form of basic coverage. However, if you want or require more cover, or are not yet employed in the emirate, you may need to consider a local, compliant international health insurance plan.

Dubai Tourist Visa Online:

A tourist visa is for those who do not qualify for a visa on arrival or visa-free entry to the UAE. A tourist visa can be obtained for eligible individual tourists from all over the world. Women under the age of 18 cannot apply for this type of visa unless they are traveling with their parents.

Multiple entry tourist visa for all nationalities:

The new multi-entry tourist visa can now be issued to all nationalities, a move aimed at making the process easier for tourists and visitors. The five-year visa allows tourists to enter multiple times on self-sponsorship and stay in the country for 90 days on each visit, which can be extended by another 90 days.

For more information on multiple-entry tourist visas, contact the Federal Office of Identity and Citizenship.

Validity of a tourist visa:

Depending on your plan, UAE tourist visas can be issued for 30 days or 90 days, with one or more entries. Recently, the UAE has allowed a five-year visa that allows tourists to enter multiple times on self-sponsorship and stay in the country for 90 days on each visit, which can be extended by another 90 days.

Tourist visas through agencies and hotels:

Licensed travel agencies and hotels in the UAE can provide you with a tourist visa provided you purchase your ticket through them and maintain a hotel reservation at a specific hotel.

Renewing or extending a tourist visa:

All types of visitor and tourist visas can be extended twice by 30 days upon application and upon successful approval by the relevant authority. This can be done without leaving the country.

Visitors and tourists can apply for a second renewal before the first one expires for AED 600 each renewal. Overstayers who do not extend their visa as stated above will have to pay a fine of AED 100 for each day of overstaying, which is calculated from 10 days after the visa expires.

  • However, the new extension rule does not apply to the following categories:
  • visitors and tourists who are residents of GCC countries
  • residents accompanying GCC nationals
  • who have special permission to enter
  • those with a 96-hour special mission clearance.
